Fermin has broken his right hand and it requires surgery. Flying home tonight
Diggia’s front tyre fell apart after ten laps. Says there was a hole in it at the end of the race.
Sunday
lol
‘We looked like donkeys…’
Toprak says pain in his shoulder wasn’t the problem today, it was weakness and lack of feeling in the joint. Tried to do his best but couldn’t finish.
Marco Bezzecchi comfortably wins one of the worst MotoGP races I can remember. Utterly tedious, that one. Fernandez holds onto P2, Martin locks out an all-Aprilia podium.
I suppose if you're only going to deliver the promised Aprilia 1-2-3-4 once, then the best time to deliver it is with two laps to go! Ogura through on Acosta
In terms of farce, this is right up there with the very worst of those 00s F1 races where drivers made it abundantly clear that they had been given team orders to concede places. It's a joke.
The best thing that can actually happen now to Acosta is Ogura passing them so that he's got someone faster than Marc to chase
Hilariously, all the tyre pressure nonsense has brought Ai Ogura right into the fight for fourth. A small mistake undoes some of his hard work, but watch him rob the Acosta/Marquez duo
Finally, Bezzecchi leads. Makes his move into T1, and now it's surely about managing it all
Bezzecchi clearly has more pace than Fernandez, and absolutely no intention of trying to lead this race. 10 to go, and the gap is sitting under a quarter of a second
Oh absolutely so yes!
Farcical
We've never seen someone gaming tyre pressure before... but Marc has just let Acosta back through. Is he maybe trying to get him penalised by denying him a tow??
Fucking love tyre pressure nonsense. So great. Acosta lets Marquez back through. Still, the first 'overtake' we've seen in laps
Toprak has parked it. Presumably his shoulder is taking too much of a beating
Bezzecchi had found some pace, and suddenly he's right back on Fernandez. Is the pain starting to get too much...?
