My last photo for this week's theme is... drumroll...
another "trees reflected in water"!
Next week's theme will be grey skies (or gray if that's your inclination). Moody.

Rummaging through my photo library. Nature, curiosities, and fungi. All photos are mine. I’m a Xennial geek living near Stockholm, Sweden. Swedish/Finnish, she/her. My less active general account: @npeura.bsky.social

It's the time of year when other people go "oooh now I can cozy up with a blanket and a huge cup of tea by the fire", while I go "I went outside for five minutes and now I need a blanket and a huge cup of tea by the fire to get warm 🥶🥶🥶".
It's teatime!
Trees reflected in a pond. Uppsala, Sweden, 2025.
Not one of my best, but I'm running low on reflections in my "ready for bluesky" album and that's the whole point.
Good morning! My grandmother gave me a four colour Bic when I was about that age. I was thrilled, I had never seen anything like it!
Here's one of my favourite "trees reflected in water" photos from 2025.
From the pedestrian bridge overlooking Farstanäset near Stockholm, Sweden. It's on my favourite route between Farsta and our home. Avoiding the big roads, nice lake views.
Thank you!
Thank you! At least it's going to rain during the weekend, which gives me an excuse to stay indoors and sleep 😴
What a week, and it's only Thursday 😣 I've had so many extra things to handle, none of them good. At least the big old birch looks good dressed in Virginia creeper vines. We should probably take it down before it falls on its own, but we're keeping it for the creeper and for the birds.
Now UPS picked up the "broken" package. So the claim is moving forward. I don't really want to blame the courier, he's probably underpaid with bad working conditions, but at the same time it's partially his fault. I'll see next week if he still has his job, I have another UPS parcel arriving then.
Oh yay, back to trees reflecting in water. Evening shot from one of my favourite spots by the lake. I've posted other (and better) photos of other (and better) sunsets from the same spot before. This one is from 2021.
The vendor has filed a claim with UPS. I hope they can resolve this. I think there's a chance to get reimbursement, because the package was supposed to be signed but the courier put it in the mailbox. The tracking also says they put it in the mailbox, so I don't even have to try to prove it.
The Virginia creepers remind me of poinsettias right now. They're invading a big chunk of our garden, but this time of year I don't mind.
Here's one that isn't "trees reflected in water". Okay, there are a few trees, but the centrepiece is a sculpture that looks like an industrial chimney stack, placed in the river that runs through Nyköping, Sweden. 2017, iPhone SE.
There are some reports that Graze wasn't behaving earlier, so I hope it was something temporary. We'll see if it works tomorrow when I post a new photo. I've added this post manually to the feed.
Annnd why isn't the feed updating with new photos? I'll have to check when I'm at home, Graze isn't exactly mobile friendly.
Another "trees reflected in water" for my #WeeklyTheme which is #Reflections. Many of us probably have a whole bunch of such photos.
At Vänern, Sweden's largest lake. Photo taken from small boat. 2016, iPhone SE
This box was supposed to contain more than just the packaging peanuts. The box looks like it could have been tampered with enough to extract some of the contents. I can't prove anything, but I hope the vendor can do something because the wares weren't cheap. This sucks.
Beautiful!
Gosh it looks wonky. I tried to straighten it up before uploading, but apparently not enough.
BTW I made a photo feed for the Weekly Theme if you want to join. Use the #WeeklyTheme hashtag and my current theme hashtag to appear on the feed. If you use your own theme it won't appear there.
