#Canada that would be a big number for a country like the US with over 350 million people.
We have about 40 million, which makes that number absurdly shocking..
and remember, if you dont agree with @mark-carney.bsky.social , he thinks you're stupid.

For some reason people believe that the role of technocratic Central Banker is a good thing. It's not. It's also a big red flag when Mark Carney was sitting at Goldman Sachs at a time they were engineering the exact financial instruments, that were responsible for the 2008 crash.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 11, 2026, 8:37 AM

Absolutely. This is shocking. I'be been tracking Mark Carney's job numbers since April 2025. Regardless of what Mark Carney says and the Carnites believe stand in direct opposition of what reality is.

Look, the richest 1%'s stock options are up. That's what's important here. *cough*

So no jobs, no affordability, no public assets... What exactly are we getting out of this? Just speeding up to life in the US, but at least we have sovereignty??

Brian Mulroney may have introduced neoliberalism to Canada, but it was the liberal party who took the ball and run with it. Canadians should be freaking out. Instead, the majority of voters are too busy genuflecting, they don't have time to bother fact checking his rhetoric.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 11, 2026, 12:02 AM

Canadians should be very afraid, instead we have a cult. Tough talk about handling Trump is code for shoving his head so far up the orange blob's ass that his head is turning orange. He has made the conservatives look good. The Liberal Party is the Grifter's club.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 11, 2026, 12:02 AM

Mark Carney lies about everything. Every piece of legislation, initiatives, funds, programs are lies. I've been tracking bills C-2 through C-39. Every single bill benefits corporations. Almost all violate indigenous, charter, constitutional, civil, human & asylum/refugee rights.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 11, 2026, 12:02 AM

We have zero sovereignty. To be fair not all of it is due to Mark Carney, but much is. We have given up our energy, digital, defensive, economic, agricultural, cultural, and water sovereignty—most of it a long time ago. Sovereignty has less to do with borders than it does with self-reliance.

Foreclosures across Canada are the highest they’ve been in 20 years…

I just want to mention that Brookfield is a heavy presence in housing. 2 weeks before the BC condo bailout, Brookfield became a co-owner of Concert Properties, a huge developer in Vancouver, BC.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 10:57 PM

Rather than investing in affordable housing, the federal gov't is cutting it by a whopping 56%, from $9.8 billion to $4.3 billion annually by 2028-29.

Every fucking thing @mark-carney.bsky.social says or does is a lie.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 10:57 PM

The Canada Build Fund is another scam. It is unaffordable for most especially those in need of housing. The program is another the slight of hand. While $13 billion was injected into the fund in budget 2025-26 major existing housing projects sunsetting will be allowed to expire.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 10:57 PM

People cannot afford to live. Rents astronomical, food prices insane, gas prices high. As for Mark Carney's "affordable housing" plan, according to PBO, rather than the 500,000 per year for 4 years, it is more like 26,000 in total at the end of four years.

@secularmoi.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 7:26 PM

We never end our fucking shit. We fuck indigenous nations over, say the words Truth & Reconciliation and call it good. Meanwhile, the Permanent People’s Tribunal found Canada perpetrating an ongoing genocide.
