Most of the components in the Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles that russia used to attack #Ukraine were manufactured in the United States.

russia obtains these components by circumventing sanctions on imports of parts for its military industry.

A grey missile at center has thin callout lines to labels giving component counts by country: United States 155, Japan 17, Switzerland 10, Taiwan 7, Germany 2, and 1 each for Russia, UK, China, Belarus, South Korea, and an unidentified source. 'Total: 197 components' appears under the title; the Ukraine World logo is in the top left corner.

Nobody hates free speech more than the fascist tech oligarchs who claimed to care about it more than anyone. What an absolute joke.

P.S. they also hate democracy.
As we hand them control of the country.

❗Starshield terminals in Ukraine are still capped at 161 km/h. Ukraine has raised the issue with the US military, the Pentagon, the State Department, and #SpaceX – but no one is providing a clear answer. Instead, the restrictions are being dismissed as “technical problems.”

Poland spends $120 million to fund Starlink for Ukraine through 2026 #Ukraine

uawire.orgPoland spends $120 million to fund Starlink for Ukraine through 2026Poland has spent nearly 500 million zlotys (about $124 million) to provide Starlink satellite internet services for Ukraine, with no agreement yet in place for 2027. However, it appears Warsaw does not plan to end its financial support. Poland began funding Starlink access for Ukraine in 2022, covering the cost of nearly 30,000 terminals and their connectivity, according to recent disclosures following Kyiv's statements about Starlink speed limits. The current contract, reported by Rzeczpospolita, runs until the end of December 2026. Funding has come from Poland’s Assistance Fund. Data from the Ministry of Digitalization show that 202.3 million zlotys (about $50 million) was spent in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, 120.5 million zlotys (about $31 million) has been allocated so far, with 132.7 million zlotys (about $34 million) spent last year and 25.5 million zlotys (about $6.4 million) so far this year, for a total of 481 million zlotys (about $120 million). The 2026 figure reflects expenditures as of the ministry’s response date and does not cover the full year. The current contract is valued at 143.3 million zlotys (about $36 million) and remains in force until December 2026. The newspaper reports that more than 100 million zlotys (about $25 million) could be spent by the end of the year, on top of the totals already cited. These future payments are not included in the current figure of more than 480 million zlotys (about $120 million). Between 2022 and 2024, Poland purchased 24,560 terminals for Ukraine, while an additional 5,150 were supplied by other parties. Poland also pays for connectivity for these devices, bringing the total number of supported terminals to nearly 30,000. A terminal cannot provide a connection without an active subscription; Poland is paying both for the hardware and for civilian users’ subscriptions. If the payments stopped, the terminals would remain physically in place but lose connectivity. No agreements have been signed yet for continued funding beyond 2026. However, this does not mean Poland will halt support, as any future decision will be made by the government. The publication considers it likely that Poland will continue paying for Ukrainian users’ connectivity next year as well. Warsaw has previously announced support for Starlink access. In January 2025, the Polish government said it would fund an additional 5,000 terminals and planned to keep paying for subscriptions. In September 2025, after debate in the Polish parliament, funding to keep the terminals online was extended. There is currently no rapid European replacement for Starlink. According to Reuters, the closest equivalent—Eutelsat’s OneWeb network—is not suitable for wartime conditions. Poland is also investigating the arson of a Starlink ground station in Mazovia on September 23. The minister coordinating special services said he had no doubt that Russian intelligence agencies were involved.

Executing captured defenders is a war crime, and the Prosecutor General's case under Article 438 is the right first step. What turns one incident into accountability is the paper trail: names, times, witnesses, unit IDs. These cases reach a tribunal only when they get past the headline stage.
