On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate the rich cultures and contributions of Native Americans and Tribal Nations, and recognize their enduring resilience. We must honor Indigenous voices, protect their heritage, and ensure their stories are never forgotten.

The holiday has become one of King Trump’s obsessions on his anti-woke warpath, as he declared last year that he would bring it “back from the ashes.” But while Trump attempts to sanitize the person, there is no running away from the horrible record Columbus holds. Here's a short list:
