A city win means we can go to 4th tomorrow if we win

I feel a big deal was made of this at the time. Now it's forgotten 😂

Suicide Prevention Month

In February 2015, I found myself in a woodland clearing in the New Forest staring a rope swing suspended by blue nylon twine from the bough of an oak, dripping with morning dew.

On the surface, I was at my most successful, but anyone paying attention would know that the wheels were coming off. I had stopped the car and walked into the woods with the aim of ending the noise and the pain.

As I walked towards the rope swing, determined to do what I knew I must do, a spaniel broke cover followed by its owner, who bid me a cheery "Good morning!"
Luckily the spell was broken.

I was shaking and returned to the car in tears.

The wheels did come off. It was terrible and humiliating, but I did not die.

Every time I officiate at the funeral of someone who has died by suicide, I have a little moment of thanks for an excited spaniel and a cheery "Good Morning!"

Please stay!

PL can't do this as they only control the top league. They can remove membership for a number of years though and should do that. Up to the football league whether they want to leave them winning the Championship for season after season.

Fingers crossed. Lots of players available to train at the club during the international break I think will help us.

MegaBreak is over. #NUFC head to Coventry City on Monday. Which means the MFTOON match previews are back.

In a Nutshell:
Frank Lampard’s Coventry City operate with the PL’s lowest defensive line and fewest chances created, but they got full points at City Ground. Here's what I saw in that match 🧵

They can't yet because of the rules on spending which is why we had to basically start again this season.

The consistent message has been that Newcastle have looked to spend the maximum permitted within the rules, and they insist it will continue www.nytimes.com/athletic/767...

He's past it at international level, I don't see the big drama. He's made his ending to his international career into a right mess.

Find me a rich person who isn't. However if I got a job that meant I could leave this country, I'd do it in a shot. Not for tax reasons though. Can't imagine the rules help us plebs anyway.

God I'm glad football is back soon, what a boring 3 weeks after a summer break. Least it replaces the other international break I guess.
