Onions are amazing. You can eat the same onion as many times as you want.
Graph of the traffic from AS13238, associated with Yandex, hit earlier by Ukraine. It dropped by about half following a reported strike on a Yandex data center.

Not a decompile, according to the project.
Holy shit. Someone has decompiled the Adobe suite, rebuilt it in Rust and released it as open source.
Either all software is dead or the US copyright laws are about to receive an update.

Establish that violations of the Emoluments Clauses and the Establishment Clause are impeachable. Establish that war crimes are impeachable. None of these require the mens rea questions that so sidetracked the first two Trump impeachments. The facts are the facts.
I'm not naive enough to actually believe this will happen, but Democrats could be preparing, right now, lists of impeachment charges against (at a bare minimum) Hegseth, Kennedy, Mullin, Patel, Blanche, & Trump, as well as Bondi, Bovino, & Noem (still worth doing!) that rely purely on public facts,
And with coding these days, there is literally no choice, you’re either using AI extensively, or you’re getting outcompeted by someone who does. You can be using it extensively and still be being outcompeted by someone who’s using AI better than you.
The unwillingness of many on the political left to engage with AI—or even just with the media available about its capabilities—is creating an epistemic gap in the discourse that will not serve us well in the long run.
It does give you a sense of the *capabilities* though. I think that the main divide is between people who use agents for *coding* and those who don’t. Coding agents now perform at the level of a senior engineer; it’s shocking how good they are.
Counterpoint: this should have been done a long time ago. There are plenty of parts of the system that should require `sudo` to modify.
I’m reminded of Greg Egan’s “Wang’s Carpets” short story, that was then incorporated into “Diaspora”.
The real answer to "where did judicial supremacy come from" is that it comes from the amendment process being a dead letter
It wouldn’t make sense for it to be contravariant, and being invariant would limit it more than it needs to be.
Proud to present my lifesize T. rex head, affectionately named Hannibal. I created this myself from start to finish- digital sculpture, resin 3D printing, painting, etc. Huge thanks to my friend @rj-palmer.com for instrumental crits and redlines during the sculpting process.
The problem in these days is less the AI hallucinations, and more the human ones being espoused by these assholes in power.
Every decent human being on the internet simultaneously had to say to themselves, "no, wait, not allowed to say that." There's kinship in that experience.
The stories we have of “rogue” AIs breaking out of sandboxes ans so forth all involve the AI being creative in carrying out the instructions of their prompters. Humans are setting the intention, and using directed randomness as an artistic tool.
What AI doesn’t have (as far as I can tell) is intentionality. It doesn’t have intrinsic motivation to act, until it is first acted upon.
