With an engaging human plot, memorable aliens, great set design and one fantastically silly Godzilla dance break, Invasion of Astro Monster is a standout entry in the series' Showa era. Going forward, Godzilla's greatest competition would be the rise of television and its own budget.

My personal fav!

These were fun to do for a couple folks who happened to reach out while I had a brief gap in my schedule, but I am not currently open for commissions.

Some recent commissions!

The movie that boldly asks the question, “What if Kitaro’s dad was hot?”

Oh hell yeah

Now things are getting serious!!!!

Last time we went to Moominvalley Park instead, which was a real treat. We’re thinking a mountain trip or something this time around.

Yeah I really would have liked to have gone, but we’ve got a few backup ideas that sound great. Might get out of Tokyo for a day, which would be nice.

The X-Men have quite a few hits (and misses)

Maybe my favorite Fall comic cover ever. MARGE'S LITTLE LULU #16. John Stanley

Honestly, frees up the day to do something else. Would’ve been fun, but no problem at all.

Sold out

Something tells me I’m not gonna get these Ghibli Museum tickets, but I might as well stick it out. It was 28k when I joined the queue an hour ago

I watched it in a high school sociology class

A movie I love to tell people exists
