Silly me. I remember when Trump made disparaging remarks about John McCain. I thought to myself that his political career must be over. O how wrong I was. Very sad. I disagreed with McCain as you did, but I respected him. I am hard pressed to think of another Republican that I respect.

My hopes are up as well, but I am wondering whether our votes will be counted. Musk will try to steal them like he did in 2024.

I wish I had known

I turned 72 yesterday. My health is good. My wife, son and I celebrated. However, given the horrific state of my country, I cannot remember a sadder birthday. I can only hope for a blue wave in November.
