I have spent some of today getting paintings ready for an upcoming exhibition and it’s been really nice to see a bunch of them all together. It’s been a while since I’ve seen some of them at all!

Now the walls are bare I’m seeing what I can find to stick on em for a bit

It is, lamentably, pay the piper o’clock. Today I return to real life and face the stark truth of having to pay for all the gadding about I’ve just done. Still. I’ve seen AMAZING WILDLIFE. And done loads of painting. And hopefully - as I’m broke & can afford to do nowt else, MOAR PAINTING TO COME

The daytime owl. Poking my nose into an old barn just off a footpath; a screech, and a barn owl soars out, looking like somebody has drawn the word OWL into the blue sky. Then it proceeds to buzz me. Irritated at being disturbed, annoyed at my nosiness. Too excited, I can’t get my phone to focus.
