This morning there was road construction on the way to school. Other kids his age beg to stop so they can look at the big trucks and name them. There was a worker up in one of those crane baskets. Steph said “want to wave at the guy way up there?” iO said “…why?” in the most condescending way 😭

Our four year old burst into my office wearing this terrifying costume he put together and said “Dad your new job is to photograph me in my graveyard!” (which is an arrangement of skeletons in the yard he’s been working on for weeks). I had nothing to do with this. This is every day.

I had to add a $1500 media storage fee to a client budget because hard drives have gotten so expensive. I used to just take storage as a cost of doing business, but now I’m losing money if I don’t charge more. But hey, at least I can ask a chatbot to tally the budget for me and then get it wrong 🙃

I think it's closer to the truth that LLMs *can* save time on *some tasks* which can be valuable *if* you monitor them and check their output. But that doesn't get you a trillion dollars so they have to squint into the middle distance and say stupid sci fi bullshit instead
