Both didn't really have any direction or motivation until our mid 30s.

But it was really cool, because everything we talk about, it is so obvious that we were pretty similar throughout our respective years. Both were/are nerds, both played sports, both pretty lazy in school until it finally caught up to us and we had to learn how to study.

Lovely day out today, and the 85 year old neighbor/friend was out walking. Pretty sure it made both of our days. We have these 10 minute conversations about once a week, and they're always so fun. When we started talking, he said, "I had hoped you were out here today!"

Lions 3 for 3 on 4th downs. Mentioned this in my day-after column last week. Lions are at their best pushing the aggressiveness. Going for it on 4th downs, playing man. They'll lose some, but good that they're back to it today. You can tell the difference. And it helps refs letting DBs play

I haven't! But I feel the same. Plus so often, it seems like they have a story to tell, and they don't drag everything out, so everything feels so well put together (obviously, I'm generalizing here haha). But I'll be checking it out tomorrow!

I just finished Murderbot, which I loved - I wasn't sure what genre it really was until a couple episodes in, and then I couldn't turn it off. So, no pressure, but I'll start Small Prophets soon because of you.

Every time I hop on Linkedin, I think that either people tell AI to create these 6 paragraph posts about their job, or they spend more time on linkedin than they do their job or their family. It's all so goofy. And normally I try not to offend people by what they do on their free time, but....

Yeah, I really like the deal for GSaw (plus Podz getting generational wealth). I think Podz will drop off a cliff once he loses a step, but that won't be until after these next 5 years. Really solid player on a (relatively) cheap deal.
