Stephen Miller keeps violating the Hatch Act, disparaging political candidates and calling them extremists and cowards. We just filed a complaint with OSC. Repeat violators must be held accountable.

DHS issued a press release with a quote from ICE Deputy Director Charles Wall attacking congressional candidate Janelle Stelson. This appears to have no other purpose than to cast aspersions on Stelson—violating the Hatch Act.

Assistant to the President & WH Director of Comms Steven Cheung posted a caricature of Senate candidate James Talarico that reposts a Truth Social message from Trump attacking him and endorsing his opponent, Ken Paxton. We have asked OSC to investigate this Hatch Act violation.

BREAKING: A federal court just sided with us in our lawsuit representing @commoncause.org and voters challenging DOJ's illegal voter roll consolidation attempts.

This is a huge win—protecting eligible voters’ freedom to cast a ballot without fear that their data will be misused.

BREAKING: Peter Navarro appears to have violated federal ethics law by using his official capacity to promote his book, "Why Fauci Must Rot in Prison." We just filed a complaint with the Office of Government Ethics and White House Counsel’s Office.

In case anyone wants to take a look at Kimberly Guilfoyle's financial disclosure...we've posted it here:

@citizensforethics.orgOct 8, 2026, 8:32 PM

Kimberly Guilfoyle reportedly asked a Trump donor to wire her $100,000 to cover an AMEX bill before her confirmation as ambassador—after offering to help him with tax and legal issues using her sway in Trump world. This is textbook corruption and demands investigation.

Trump is trying to clean up his illegal taxpayer-funded propaganda ads mess with another illegal scheme to instead have his super PAC pay for them. Reimbursing the government via super PAC would also be illegal. The damage is done.

@citizensforethics.orgOct 8, 2026, 5:00 PM

The Trump admin refused to invite international election observers for the first time in over 20 years. As concerns about the Trump admin undermining election integrity escalate and the midterms quickly approach, this is a troubling decision.

It looks like the FBI took down the video we filed a Hatch Act complaint about earlier this week. This rampant lawbreaking cannot continue, even if they backtrack when called out.

@citizensforethics.orgOct 8, 2026, 3:00 PM

President Trump has repeatedly overstepped the bounds of his power by trying to interfere with elections. But the Constitution is clear: the authority to run elections is vested in states, not the federal government.

The OSC won't discipline agencies for messages blaming last year's government shutdown on Democrats, saying they couldn't consult OSC for clarification because its Hatch Act Unit was furloughed. Sorry, but a shutdown isn't a free pass to violate the law.

Happening now at a federal court in New York: a hearing in our lawsuit against President Trump.

FPF and @theintercept.com sued Trump and aides Natalie Harp and Dan Scavino over a scheme to sell early access to his Truth Social posts for up to $100,000 a month.

Here’s what’s at stake 👇

Months ago, we called for an IG investigation into a $620 million Pentagon loan to a Trump Jr.-linked company. Now, Trump's sons' investments are tied to over $6 billion in active or promised government contracts. This is exactly why we need answers.

Leo Terrel has once again violated the Hatch Act, this time by explicitly advocating for his followers to elect Vivek Ramaswamy. These violations are obvious and flagrant. We've asked OSC to investigate.

Corporations that have capitulated to Trump's corruption should *absolutely* be held accountable. Period.

@citizensforethics.orgOct 6, 2026, 9:01 PM

The FBI just posted a video highlighting several current candidates for office, including Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, saying that their policies “failed” and “Americans were left exposed.” This is a clear violation of the Hatch Act. We just asked the OSC to investigate.
