Why yes, I am still reading arthuriana, how could you tell?
You don't see many damosels around these days, do you?
You might think "ah, what a beautiful stone house you must have" and we do love it but the rubble-fill building approach and mishmash of stone, brick, and whatever else they had to hand, does not lend itself to exposed stonework.
We are onto diamond drill bit number three but it seems that progress is being made...
Given the difficulty the builders are having drilling a waste outlet for the new bathroom sink, our house must be borderline impregnable. Apparently the walls are almost two feet thick and the stone is akin to granite.
we used to call it 'playing on the computer' now look at this wretched place
The best I've been to is definitely Changi in Singapore. A stopover there flies by.

I once had an eleven hour layover in Minneapolis and it's nice to know that it could have been alright, had we not been travelling from Canada to the UK and therefore not secured the right to leave the terminal. Eleven hours was a long time to spend with departure gates and a couple of coffee shops.
He was driving a Friesian in that one, I think. As far as I recall the only time the shires show up on film is in War Horse, another movie that made me extreme angry.
Prydain was absolutely an influence on me choosing a Welsh university and consequently, ultimately, on living in Wales.
I have a clear recollection of a part where they take the elevator down to the realm of the dead but I have no idea of it's actually part of the book or a weird fever dream it inspired.
Yes! Give me the heart and humour and adventure and Welshness! Give me Luke Evans as Gwydion and Michael Sheen as Dalben. It would be pretty easy to make a classic from those stories.
