@milkand.bsky.socialive had my fair share of delayed/ghosted comms, but only a few of them felt like legit 'bad' experiences, bc the artist Did Not communicate w/ me. i could say more but IMO this discourse is always obnoxious to witness bc the convo is ALWAYS dominated by like, 'inexperienced commissioners' LMFAO
@milkand.bsky.sociali think many artists (myself included) could benefit from adopting a better work-life balance, or discussing How To Achieve That. theres also a ton of 'valid' reasons why an artist might take forever on a comm, but imo the important part is Communication an Expectation, for both parties.
