Down with Citizens United amirite? Or at least do the damn reporting timely
'global energy shocks' come from Putin's war of choice on Ukraine and Trump's war of choice on Iran. Can you 'perceive' that?
You hate to 'heart' news like this but I'm glad you're tracking and posting.
Where's the mooch?
@barakravid.bsky.social in a moment of actual journalism, maybe
Yes. And how long til the AI geniuses figure out it's pretty easy to buy dems, too?
And the challenger lands a solid blow
Yes. But not too commie and not too fasci But there is more than a little remnant of that blue/red and even if a candidate makes sense to 50% or more, both ends will savage them and/or not vote for them because of their jersey (Harris, Gore as examples. Hell, even Romney is looking less devilish)
In good company
Could be. I think there might be space for a really compelling character to pull those independents who felt Trump was a better alternative to those wanting to eliminate police and borders with the people you call 'establishment' Likely 2/3 of votes and maybe even more of the populace
I agree, but this is not really the real issue of all the wealth locked up by people who don't 'make' money
I'd agree that Mamdani hasn't really built any THING except a winning coalition and an effective city government
Problem is the familiar divide between 'progressives' and 'moderates' An exciting candidate turns for one group tends to turn off the other Bring back competence !
Would like to see better positioning of this as a tourist destination over Bangkok's Bumrungrad, esp for Americans
Heard @mariaressa.bsky.social on Morning Joe today. She has a great story but I'm not seeing it translate to Philippines visitors or investment
Philippines has much to offer but it's not easy to get There's a Ph foodie movement in the US now, many embracing ube, buko and the cuisine popping up everywhere Angara-Mathay should use this as a channel for advertising
or a club
This is one of my greatest concerns. If 'excitement' is the bar to clear, we'll get entertainers and clowns. Probably the biggest uphill battle is Troy Jackson in Maine - the very embodiment of unexciting. I'm excited by pulling back from the edge of AI-enabled surveillance state autocracy
I was excited, too, until I found it was the wrong paramount (for me) Have fun in Knoxville
