I will probably fork over money to Chatri to watch ONE Samurai 4. Haggerty, Nabil, Yoza, Noiri, and Nadaka are all must watch striking TV. Also, fun to see Chatri kind of rub it in that he's got all of Japan's best strikers in K-1's face even if they don't have the most viral striker.
"...depicts Jason's tragic death and the impact it had on his mother." I mean, I watched the first movie. I know it had a negative impact on Pam.
My thoughts on The Tournament are that it's fun, disjointed, and goofy. For the whole learning Muay Thai plot, I wish they'd peppered it in a bit more in Angela's final fights. Would recommend Hapikdo over this if you wanted the best Angela Mao movie, but The Tournament is still a fun time.
He is a lot skinnier in his movies with Angela Mao than I'm used to seeing.
I love how some of these fights just end with Angela Mao telling someone to go and learn to be a better person.
I'm glad this movie could get back to the real enemy, Karate.
This movie has now become A Hard Day's Night, but what if the Beatles ran around Thai ruins.
This might be the most respectful of Muay Thai and Thais I've seen in a martial arts movie from the 70s.
It's a shame I didn't know about Angela Mao earlier. Hapkido was awesome! The Tournament is awesome!
Whenever someone tells me I can't use Muay Thai to solve all my problems.
As it is within all our freedoms!
This movie took a real dark turn.
I'm beginning to think that Mark Disalle or Glenn A. Bruce watched this movie before they wrote Kickboxer.
Angela Mao laughs at your pistol squat challenge!
Man, you could just do kung fu shirtless and in jeans.
Every American kickboxer in the 80s.
This movie just forgot about the girl who got kidnapped as collateral for a restaurant owner's exhortation debt.
Ah shit, my mistake. I thought I was calling the Martial Arts Federation.
Really hammers in how no one was ready for clinch fighting.
About 20 minutes in, and there has already been more Muay Thai than all of Kickboxer.
