That's the crux of politics in 2026. The question: are people too stupid to understand the truth? Or is it that they know the truth already - they've just created their own protective barrier to separate themselves from it? Denial is WILLFUL blindness. You can't unwill them into seeing it.

Denial is not the same as ignorance. ▶️ Ignorance is being too stupid to know the truth. ▶️ Denial is when one portion of your psyche knows the truth - but is afraid of it. So it gets shut down to hide it from the rest of your psyche. Ignorance can't see the truth. Denial doesn't WANT to see it.

This made me laugh so hard I cried. 🤣😂 Woman tricked 3,400 MAGA into buying a blank book entitled "Biblical Proof That Trump Will Save America" and told them God said only the special ones can read it, so if it's blank for you - take it up with God.

The Student Union called on protestors to resume blockades before “converging on the Bastille” in Paris. A call seen as a reference to the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, during the French Revolution. ✊🏼 Damn. These students REALLY want a good education. 🤪🇫🇷

In USA: Thousands of students protested the Cornell 7 outside of Day Hall in what professors called the largest protest since Vietnam. ✊🏼 Here they are performing "The Rapist Is You" or "El Violador Eres Tú:" a 2019 Chilean feminist performance piece drawing attention to violence against women. ❤️‍🩹

In USA: Cornell students had a 7-hour sit-in Wednesday in solidarity with Jane Doe. “7 hours for the 7 hours she endured. 7 hours of solidarity. 7 hours demanding change,” a coalition of Cornell student groups said in a post on Instagram ahead of the demonstration.

In Brazil, hundreds of thousands took to the streets in a pro-democracy March for Lulu: the candidate against right-wing Bolsonaro. They advance to a run-off after Bolsonaro won the 1st round. Brazilians worry that Trump, Meta Algorithms, & right-wing coalitions are interfering with their election.

In France, 250,000 students have spent weeks violently protesting a poorly-funded high school system. 215 teenagers, 85 teachers, & 700 police have been injured. France's Interior Ministry said around ​6,100 people had been arrested since the protests began roughly two weeks ago.

In Spain, Maricarmen lived in her home for 70 yrs before a vulture fund bought it & raised the rent. The 87/y/o was forcibly evicted on a stretcher. She died in the hospital. Hundreds of thousands protested. The socialist government tried to ban evictions until 2030 but was shut down by congress.
