I forgot to stick on her itty bitty hands... but now Strawberry has hands again!
YAAA, INDEED
YAHHHHH
INDEED!!
I really wanted to make her sooner!! I just needed a calm break to do it, and I'm so happy I did. It was very relaxing and now she is real :)
SHE IS HERE. Thank you again Paper Bridget. You are the coolest @paperbridget.bsky.social
@paperbridget.bsky.social made the template at the start of the year, I was so happy! I printed it out in college, but didn't get around to it due to being busy. I printed out two sheets, so I'd like to make her again, as I don't think I did the best job :>
@paperbridget.bsky.social is the best!! Strawberry is real! #nanrait #oc
It's so funny that this started from commenting on Zashiki Alice's lovely artwork, to Puyo Puyo, to Super Puzzle Fighter II, to Crystal Crisis, and to the many Obamas that exist in fighting video games
I have not heard of that! Thank you. We must amass a collection of the heavily Obama inspired USA presidents in fighting games specifically
Also, there is a character who is the president of the USA and inspired by Obama, meaning that there are at least TWO fighting video games where a very Obama-like president of the USA exists.

YUP. Astro Boy is there. As Nicalis publishes lots of Japanese games outside of Japan, they had Cave Story, but also Umihara Kawase! Which I cared about. I remember liking how they drew some of the characters, but now all I think is that I could animate the 2D portions so much better fwalalalal
Ahhh, very fun (sarcastic).
What I know of Crystal Crisis, is that it was made as a tribute to Puzzle Fighter in terms of gameplay. I remember it because I liked the visuals in the trailer when I was 14-ish.

This is true, and in recent years there was a very inspired game called Crystal Crisis, but I don't know if that was supposed to be good or not.
Don't get disheartened if you get overwhelmed. It takes a while to get used to Puyo Puyo, but it is very fun and feels very good when you improve and get better combos. Hope you enjoy :)
I love Puyo Puyo, despite not being great. It isn't as instantly intuitive as Tetris, but very satisfying when it clicks. I then fell in love with the older stuff due to the art and music I saw online
OKAY! I assumed PPT2 had a demo. This demo got me into it. PPT is enjoyable! But you can get a LOT from the demo alone. I played for many months in highschool with the demo only. You can make a decision to buy the full version if you enjoy it, but 2 may be better if you choose to purchase
There are indeed many! I like the older Puyo Puyo's for art and vibes, but I recommend Puyo Puyo Tetris 1 or 2, as they have free demos on Switch, and that is enough to get a feel for Puyo Puyo if you select Puyo only gameplay
I consider Puyo Puyo a puzzle fighting game. Back and forth between two players trying to do combos and counters
I really love this.. Valentine gets to be part of a fighting game, but it is a PUZZLE fighting game
