That doesn't surprise me at all. In my limited interactions with other people's kids, I've found their worst traits and habits tend to come from helicopter parents, parents who don't want to parent at all, or parents who infect their kids with their absolutely disgusting worldviews.

I'm on ADHD meds too, and I found the same. I still prefer alone time, but I don't get nearly as anxious in social situations anymore. It's a blessing, that! Anxiety is awful. 😩

That's actually pretty similar to how I used to be, though the anxiety and stomach issues ultimately turned out to be side effects of neurodivergent burnout. 😅
