(I could use stronger words than "frustrating" but tbh I don't think anything would do it justice)

Very very frustrating when couples can get married in churches because they like the aesthetics, but those who regularly attend for years and truly want God to be part of their lives and relationships cannot.

In the past month we've had two wedding blessings and two baptisms. It would have been two weddings and two baptisms, but you know... The Church of England.

Bethany wore a “Protect The Dolls” t-shirt during rehearsals. The BBC posted it on their socials then quietly deleted and reposted it without showing her from the front. On TV last night they actually blurred the message #Strictly

Sometimes, to feel human again, you just have to go to bed at 8:45 and sleep for over 11 hours.

Every night on Holy Island I spend half an hour or so sat on the shore watching the sea before going to bed. What a privilege.

it is extremely important that we build the data centres that kill you & the planet to run the Product that kills you & the planet. if we stop devoting money & resources to the Our Creation Kills Everyone project, the economy will collapse. you wouldn't want line go down, would you?

Just because a building is built doesn't mean it ought to be there forever. but this was a long-serving parish with a lot of history in the Ancoats area, it could have made a great community space if it wasn't camped on for profit. and it would seem now that the camper played the long game and won.

I don't think this was a particularly great building: an 1830s Commissioners brick box, just atypically Neo-Norman. Pevsner naturally stuck some pejoratives in ("uncouth pinnacles") Maybe it shouldn't have been listed. Irony is, if it wasn't, it would probably have been repurposed and still be here.

Basically, the private owner of the building, after failing to shift it for a guide price of £450k, has been allowed for it continue to become dangerously overgrown so they can level the whole building on their own terms for a nice clear site for luxury flats. Listing is a joke.

Every time he leaps onto a vehicle to try and murder the occupants, they show it in slow motion so you can see his asshole revealed in slow motion betwixt his chaps. Incredible cinematography. They were doing wild things in 1980's Australian cinema, apparently.

Watching Mad Max 2 and WHY has this one guy got his ass out the WHOLE time??? Mans spending the apocalypse besieging an oil plant in assless chaps. I have questions. Such as: WHERE in the outback was the sex store they all raided for their outfits???

I don't know what they'll be using for this specific scenario, but I used to have to get knocked out at the dentist as a kid (my dentist phobia is... bad) and they gave me strawberry flavoured gas through the mask - and that was 20 years ago. There's so much out there to make it easier for kids.

My old laptop was made of leather (don't ask any questions). So now it's dead I'm planning to peel it and make something out of its skin (I said, don't ask any questions). It's not much leather so I'm taking suggestions as to what to make once it's been flayed (I meant it about the questions).

This recipe means there's no need for peeling or par boiling or anything else. Perfect for laziness.

Okay, air fryer roasties recipe: Cut up a potato into small pieces and put in a bowl or something. Add oil, thyme, powdered garlic, and salt. Measure with your heart. Shake to coat. Throw em in the air fryer at 190°c for 12-15 mins. Shake the drawer occasionally, to stop them sticking. Eat.

Worked out how to make roast potatoes in under 15 mins in the air fryer and now I'm adding them as a side to ALL my meals.

I was on tour so South Carolina, Texas, California, New York, Connecticut, Illinois, and Wisconsin. I don't live too far North in England but geographically I'm about aligned with Edmonton, Alberta.

I always found it interesting, when I spent November in The USA, how little they could comprehend the shortness of our days in winter, and how amazed I was by their long hours of daylight, and it all came down to the fact that the UK is much much further north than people think.
