Beyond that (and the other moments of casual high school girl nudity) it's a pretty solid adaptation of the book, despite being SO very 70s. But I think I'll stick with the book and Flanagan's new version now.
Having really enjoyed Flanagan's new Carrie, I went back to watch the De Palma movie from the 70s, which I've never seen before. The slow motion locker room scene with loads of naked high school girls that opens the movie is a hell of a choice. What the actual fuck?
It's October. Would you like something creepy?

Adrian does great covers and is great to work with. Get real art from a real human at a steal!

Friends, the ebook of RECALL is super cheap at the Zon right now. No idea for how long.
That or extremely exploitative. Or both.
I loved it.
You're fucking good at it. It'll come around.
"I slammed my bollocks in a sandwich press and my bollocks got really smashed and cooked. It's made me rethink how I use a sandwich press."
no idea who made this but I think of that random person with gratitude every time I heat up any sort of wraplike food object in the microwave
Quality move.
Enjoy!
This book with a trans character might adversely affect your kids, so we're banning it. Meanwhile, don't forget to tune in to the livestreamed execution!

It's just been announced at NYCC so I guess I can tell you that I'm writing The Regulators for Marvel. My five issue comic series will be out in 2027. Mutants, magic and monsters woven into the very fabric of Jim Crow America.
hello, I am doing some research and would like to tap into the collective brains of BSKY: 1. can you share some genre or literary fiction magazines that have closed and the archive is NO LONGER ONLINE 2. the same but the archives remain online FOR NOW i would also appreciate RTs for awareness š
AI truly is digital asbestos and it's going to be the death of so many industries. Not becayse it's better, but because it's poison. You'd think legacy publishing, of all things, would know better. Fucking appalling.
