Burnham's got a wiriness about him. Farridge would go over like a sack of spuds.

Go on, Andy. Call him a cunt.

We’ve been talking about this for years. None of these far-right movements are organic.

Why on earth does this BBC piece on Burnham telling an interviewer the UK security services confirmed Russian interference in the Brexit referendum require a response from a pro Brexit pressure group? It's literally our Prime Minister telling us about election security. It's nothing to do with them.

The prime minister told The Rest is Politics podcast that upon arriving in No 10, he had asked about possible Russian interference in the 2016 vote, adding: "I've had the clear answer that, yes, there was."

"I think we've been too much on the back foot on that actually and we haven't informed people sufficiently about the extent to which people are seeking to disrupt the political process from overseas," he added.

Burnham did not provide further details about the type or extent of Moscow's activity during the Brexit referendum.

Britain Unbound, a pro-Brexit campaign group, said Burnham's comments were "another crude attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the decision that the British people made in 2016".

It said that foreign interference in UK elections was "obviously unacceptable" but added: "There is no good reason to believe that Russian intervention influenced the outcome of the referendum in 2016.

I am feeling attacked

The ADHD urge to be excellent at solving other people's highly complex problems while letting our car registration expire for 8 months while actively thinking about it every single day.

Joan and I used to follow each other on the old place. We never communicated. I wondered what she got from the whole deal, but it was lovely to have her there.

Just looked on iPlayer. Lovely OGWT with Jerry Donahue on guitar and Dave Mattacks on drums. Tall In The Saddle is another great one from that album.

Yep. It's faux-posh pass-agg.

@cheeseford.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 6:44 PM

The context was that it was being used by a cunt.

@cheeseford.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 6:13 PM

Yep. My assumption too.

Just a hunch, but I'm not sure that folk who get into tiger enclosures are mentally well. Maybe best not to take the piss out of them.

@cheeseford.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 5:51 PM

I have heard it used on its own, which lends it an edge of aggression.

The Germans probably have a word for going into a Mid-Counties Co-Op and being told your divi card isn't valid.
