Sorry that should be 65-68th. I momentarily forgot how to count. It happens.
Did the final touches to some more Dropzone Commander minis. 64th to 68th minis painted in 2026.
Also, yes, I am aware it's kinda funny that I deleted my thread speculating about why GW deleted their posts.
So it looks like there is some other, presumably weirder, reason why it's been deleted. A lot of people have made comparisons to the Cursed City but I feel like its situation was very specific to it, this feels different IMO but who knows? So for now, the speculation continues!
I'll delete the thread in a second since I don't want to be pushing something that doesn't seem to be true as the one bit of info we do apparently have is that Cubicle 7 were cool with the Necromunda RPG. But I thought you'd all like to see the screenshot.
Ah thank you!
Where did they say that? Not disbelieving you, just not seen it mentioned and am curious!)
It's all fairly low stakes so I should have made my theory more fanciful to keep it interesting. More twists and turns that I absolutely cannot back up but 100% does not matter if I'm right or wrong hah
Ah, well good luck! Hopefully it wont be too big a clean up.
Is it a 'there's bits floating around in the resin' or a 'solid chunks of stuff stuck to the FEP' kinda cleanup?
Impressive! The most I've ever managed like that was when half a print just wasn't there (which is how I found out how important it was for me to check the feet of the printer are level after moving it). Seriously though, that sucks.
The full range of minis that came with them and the exact timeframe may be info that is lost to time. I suppose 'they came with some minis around the late 80s' is just as close as you can get with some things.
Given the other person I'd seen mention it said it came with a communications officer and others have called it a 'Techmarine backpack', I assume that they came with a host of different specialist marines during the early metal backpack era.
I remember the last time I talked about those old backpacks I didn't really get much feedback from anyone knowing where they came from, but this time there's been several people confirming they sometimes just came with Medics they'd bought when these were new. So... s'cool to get confirmation!
If you'd like to grab the files so you can print some yourself, you can get them on a pay-what-you-want basis over on my Cults page now.
Also the fact that the missile pod one ended up looking like a new altmode for Soundwave was entirely accidental.
Gave a quick paintjob to the 3 test prints of my Miller tank. I should really print off some nicer versions with thinner layers since the drybrushing really highlights them but hey, they were just tests (plus it's not quite as noticeable to the naked eye). 62nd, 63rd and 64th minis painted in 2026.
Ah yes, Transformers, a franchise with a famously un-convoluted canon that is new to multiverse stuff. No do not open TFwiki or glance at Japanese continuity.
New blog post on army building finally finished, now Blogger will let me add pictures.
