Well yeah, they had all the Quantum stuff going on, but you could tell the studio got a little too excited about getting the rights to use SPECTRE again and kinda just shoved them in a little too hard (Skyfall's villain in particular being part of SPECTRE all along felt especially shoehorned).

The twist in Spectre. The way they retroactively shoved SPECTRE into the previous Daniel Craig 007 movies was already not great, but the reveal that Blofeld is James Bond's adoptive brother took me completely out, and is something my dad (who's a huge 007 fan) and I still make fun of to this day.
