I get your scepticism and i am also not yet fully convinced but so far i definitely prefer their way than the way sony is handling things lately

I still got little hope for them Asha Sharma so far in her short time as the boss of Xbox has done all right and if she continues to do the right moves she might convince me in getting the next xbox too alongside my PC (i love physical games so that would require that otherwise it's pc)
