Same. I mean, I had medical care for small things. The subsidy fully covered my premiums, and I never met the deductible, so I paid for doctors and meds out of pocket. So was I defrauding the gov't by having them pay the insurance co. for care that I didn't end up needing?

You may think I could have saved myself the trouble of choosing and applying for a policy, but you can never tell in advance whether or not you'll have a medical condition serious enough to put you over the deductible. It just happens that I didn't.

I was on the ACA for a few years. I was low-income enough that the subsidy fully covered my premiums, and the deductible was high enough that the policy never paid any of my medical bills. Am I part of the 35% "fraudsters" they're talking about?
