Thank you #FilmNoirFoundation for showing the not-quite noir,
A MAN CALLED ADAM (1966)
I was completely blown away.
Sammy Davis Jr’s shockingly brave performance on the big screen — what an effing film it is — see it if you can!
Great cast & dir. by Leo Penn
The Addams Family (1964) 🎃
My daughter asked to watch some Twilight Zone together.
Cool graphics from the opening title sequence for #DeadRinger (1964) starring Bette Davis. #TCMParty

Understandably also called the
“Super” estate wagon.
And it cost less than $1500, new.

CRIME WAVE (1954)
Directed by André De Toth
"I shall never forget the weekend Laura died”
Otto Preminger’s LAURA, starring Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews, was released in NYC, New York #OnThisDay in 1944. With Clifton Webb, Vincent Price, Judith Anderson.
If you're going to make a gritty urban picture called "While the City Sleeps", you'd do well to take advantage of the newest addition to the skyline: L.A. City Hall. MGM shot it over the summer of 1928, and I wonder if this was the first film to use the landmark as a backdrop. ("now" image 2024)
A wonderful #Svengoolie big broadcast of the classic mammoth Universal "Munster" masterpiece, "Munster, Go Home!" (1966) with all my fellow wonderful friends/Super SvenPals tonight!
Enjoy the rest of the Sven fest, I will see you all next Sven Sat.! Goodnight, Peace & Sven Cheers to all!
I always enjoy #NoirCityDC! Great to see a movie on the big screen with a crowd -- to hear and share their reactions. Cool movies and great intros from #EddieMuller this weekend, #FosterHirsch next weekend. #NoirAlley #TheNoirCollective #FilmNoir #TCMParty silver.afi.com/events/detai...

CRIME WAVE (1954)
One of the best films noir. Directed by the great Andre de Toth from a screenplay by the legendary Crane Wilbur. With a killer supporting cast including Charles Bronson, Ted de Corsia and Timothy Carey. Highly recommended.🎥
Add your live comments tonight during the “BOO-nanza” double feature on MeTV! Use the hashtag #svengoolie - and see who has more enemies in England- Herman Munster or Joan Crawford!
