The two “cases” I bought for 17 Pro last year, and which both fit 18 Pro perfect:

I've never seen Trump using his phone to snap a photo before.
Oh yes, me too.

I prefer the Apple ones for their brevity.
One spitball, looking at battery life gains YoY (18 Pro gets longer battery life than 17 Pro Max): at a certain point maybe Apple calls battery life “good enough” and rather than increase it YoY, they make the device noticeably thinner, merging Pro specs with Air design.
Yep. 21st and Chestnut. Has been an Apple billboard for I think at last 15 years — since before the Apple Store opened on Walnut even.
I think that take is basically correct. Loosely held opinion at this point, but that’s my basic take.
But they made a second-generation iPhone Mini too. So the question isn’t whether there will be a second Air, but whether there will be a third. These phones have 2-3 year runways. Just by launching the first iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone Air, Apple effectively committed to 2 generations.
I believe the rumors that there will be an Air 2 in the spring, debuting alongside iPhone 18 and 18e. Now that the Air has dual cameras I’m sure Air 2 will also, with the second camera being ultrawide 0.5x.
Thinking back through my conversations, I think this makes sense. I don’t think Apple sees sensor noise as sufficiently analogous to actual film grain, so they don’t use that as a source. But they *do* use exposure settings. You get more intense grain in low light, which mirrors film.
I did!

I haven’t bought one in a while, but Ryan London is Bullstrap’s long-time archrival. Very similar designs with no bottom lip. Different leather texture.
If you carry an iPhone and iPad Mini, you’re in the bullseye of the Duo demographic.
No, of course not. There are many very smart people who are just born without a good mind for math. And vice-versa: great math students whose brains are lacking in other areas. But it’s an odd thing to brag that students at the country’s largest university system are “struggling with basic math”.
I don’t think it’s a fixed pattern, either, and it might have some relation to natural sensor noise. Apple hasn’t yet really explained it. I’m keeping my eyes out for interviews with photography oriented sites.
Only a little late this year.
I've now seen more ads for the iPhone Duo (1), five weeks ahead of launch, than I have for the iPhone Air (0), an entire year after launch.
I’m quite sure they in fact are. Why wouldn’t they be?
Fuckin-A right, man. Look forward to checking this out soon. (Not now, but soon, for reasons you can guess.)
