We have learned of a website (which we are not linking to) that is charging people to pay to play knockoffs of popular board games like Catan, Wingspan, Agricola and more - different names, crappy art, same mechanics.

More stolen vibe-coded games I’ve discovered this morning on the “in-development” section of their website I’ll need more help figuring out what each of these games are. I see Terraforming Mars, Azul, Gloomhaven @cephalofairgames.bsky.social, and Pandemic as obvious ones.

My desire to play a game the new Jonathan Blow game is slightly lower than my desire not to give Jonathan Blow any money. Dude sucks in his politics. Makes games that I like. I’ll wait for a *deep* sale or more likely forget and not bother getting to it with so many other great games to play.

Possible Correction: “Tidewick” seems to have been identified as an Everdell clone, not Le Harve. If someone more familiar with Everdell could help double-check this correction it would be appreciated!

That’s the part that is the absolute slimiest. They basically are charging for doing prompts and web hosting. What value are they actually creating themselves when the games are stolen with material loss to the original designers and publishers?

It seems that publishers can ask for their game to rightfully be taken down. “Aviary” / Wingspan has already been taken down. Please contact the proper publishers to request their games to be taken down. We’ll also need help identifying all of the games so the correct people can be informed.
