My dad went to Georgia Tech after serving in WWII, students used to eat at a restaurant just off campus called Pickrick, run by future racist governor Lester Maddox. My dad a WWII veteran from Philadelphia, saw one instance of racism and made the decision to boycott the restaurant. I agreed w/him.
