Since December 2024, the average American household is paying: $222 more for electricity. $758 more for gas. $211 more for groceries. $929 more for health care. $256 more on rent. $852 more for child care. $4,330 more for their mortgage. Trump's economy.
AI policy should not be written by a handful of billionaires who sat in the front row of Donald Trump’s inauguration and who make financial contributions to him. Period.
Trump said the war would be over within a week. Then a month. Then we had complete control of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump says whatever is convenient. It’s not tied to reality. It’s not tied to facts. It’s tied to whatever is going on in Donald Trump’s head.
We can deliver universal childcare. But Republicans in Congress would rather support Trump’s Iran war and give another tax break to billionaires than guarantee child care for every American family. This is a fight worth fighting.
Currently, one giant corporation could own your pharmacy, your doctor, your pharmacy benefit manager, and your insurance. They are taking a cut every step of the way. I have a bill to Break Up Big Medicine and stop companies from operating as one giant health conglomerate.
If you want to see Trump unchained, unfettered, and unrestricted, keep Republicans in charge of the House and Senate. But if you think Congress should have a role in stopping a war, addressing chaotic tariffs, or protecting health care, then vote for Democrats.
In much of America, a year of childcare costs more than a year of in-state college tuition. Parents are basically paying a second rent just to go to work. That's not a personal failing. It's a policy choice. It’s time to guarantee childcare for every family.
This story from Last Week Tonight stopped me in my tracks. Cole did everything right. He had insurance. He took his medicine. Then the inhaler he'd relied on for years suddenly cost over $500. Cole should still be alive. I'm fighting to make sure this never happens again.
Donald Trump made 1,000+ stock trades in one month, all while holding the power to move the market. Banning the president and lawmakers from owning and trading individual stocks is common sense. It is long past time for Congress to act.
Social Security is a promise. You work hard, pay into the system, and get the benefits you've earned at retirement. But now, the Social Security trust fund is projected to run out in 2032. I’m fighting to protect Social Security for the next generation.
Head Start serves 700,000 of the poorest families in America—including children who are homeless, in foster care, or disabled. The Trump administration wants to toss out nearly all the rules that make it work. Our kids deserve better.
Republicans don't want to talk about: ❌ Trump's "promise" to lower costs on Day One ❌ Why energy prices are going up so fast ❌ The endless war in Iran
Every other rich country has figured out that investing in young kids pays off. The first five years shape everything that comes after. Universal child care is how we give every child a fair shot and invest in our entire nation’s future.
Trump and Republicans want to make it harder for young people to vote. My Youth Voting Rights Act does the opposite: Pre-registration before 18. Polling places on college campuses. Young people getting a voice in their future.
80% of doctors now work for private equity and corporate entities. Doctors should be focused on their patients, not quotas set by investors who know nothing about medicine. I’ve got a bill to push back against the corporate takeover of medicine.
Donald Trump has let companies like Nvidia sell our advanced AI chips to China. He's putting the profits of his buddy CEOs ahead of America’s interests.
First, Trump’s family made billions from crypto. Then his crypto company got a federal bank charter, giving him and his family a new way to profit. Trump's not working for you. He's working for himself.
The Fed just raised interest rates. And families will pay the price. Credit card users alone will see roughly $2 BILLION in additional interest charges over the next year. And it’s all thanks to Donald Trump’s failed economic policies.
High-quality child care is one of the best tools we have to make life more affordable for families. In the richest nation in the world, we should invest in child care like public infrastructure. That’s why I’m leading the charge on delivering child care for Americans.
