Our Unemployment Insurance Agency plays a vital role in supporting Michiganders when they need it most.
Cutting off these resources only serves to harm our workforce and disrupt the essential services Michigan residents rely on every day.

Michigan Attorney General. I love my kids, wife, cats, and country. But not Ohio State U.
Cutting off these resources only serves to harm our workforce and disrupt the essential services Michigan residents rely on every day.
The Trump administration’s attempt to unilaterally cancel these grants midcycle strips crucial funding meant to modernize technology, block fraud, and protect our state’s system.
Our Unemployment Insurance Agency plays a vital role in supporting Michiganders when they need it most.

Yours.
When you share information, you should have confidence the federal government isn’t going to misuse it. As our next Secretary of State, @garlingilchrist.bsky.social will protect your privacy.
Michigan’s next Secretary of State must fight to protect our elections, not cave to Donald Trump. I trust @garlingilchrist.bsky.social to stand firm and put the people first.
Threats of this nature are unacceptable against anyone, though when they are made against an officer of the court for their service to public safety, it's a crime not only against the victim but also the institutions that keep all our communities safe.
Public servants, from judges to clerks to local officials and lawmakers, shouldn't have to fear for their personal safety, or their very lives, for fulfilling their duties.

It was great to join State Rep. Jennifer Conlin and her supporters in Brighton earlier this week. Jennifer is focused on the issues that matter to Michigan families, and I’m proud to support her re-election.
My office will continue to hold accountable those who target and exploit vulnerable adults.
With this conviction, we’ve secured significant restitution to the family of the victim. Michigan’s elderly, and especially those reliant on others to manage their household needs or finances, deserve our attention and our vigilant protection.

In this time of serious cost concerns in households all across Michigan, from groceries to gasoline, from the gas bill to the electric bill, it is remarkable our utilities continue to demand, and receive, rate hikes as large as we’ve ever seen.
It is likely the MPSC will simply split the difference between the well-reasoned numbers my office proposes and the obscene demand from the utility, as they’ve done many times.
Just like DTE, Consumers Energy inflates every rate request with unsupported and unjustifiable costs, to bill their customers at higher and higher gas and electric rates.
We won’t tolerate the destruction of our natural resources in any corner of the state, and no business has the right to wantonly devastate important habitats. I’m grateful the Court granted our motion, and we’ll work to ensure damages from this case reflect the harm done here by these defendants.
Wetlands are every bit as vital to Michigan’s ecosystem as our more well-known Great Lakes, dunes, and teeming rivers and forests, and they’re rightly protected by strong state statutes.
This new rule leaves Michigan families more exposed than ever to the swings of global oil prices and I stand firmly with my colleagues in telling NHTSA it's time to follow the Congressional mandate.
The government should be encouraging automotive innovation that our workers, manufacturers and communities have helped drive for generations.
