We cannot start funding Putin’s war machine against Ukraine because the President is desperate to distract from his failures. The Senate passed legislation to sanction Russian oil buyers just three weeks ago. That is the law, and the President needs to follow it.

Trump’s economy has been a disaster for Latino Nevadans:

Good news: the Senate passed my bipartisan legislation last week to crack down on tax scammers, protect taxpayer privacy, and stop Americans from being penalized because of IRS delays.

Bill Pulte needs to come before the Senate and answer for the abuses of power he’s committed in service to Trump’s political agenda.

My colleagues and I are demanding he be brought before the Senate Banking Committee to answer for these abuses of power.

Bill Pulte has abused his power as Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency to target Trump’s political opponents. He’s slashed funding for watchdogs meant to hold him accountable. And while he’s been focused on politics, his mismanagement has created unnecessary risk in our housing market.

The Trump Admin. wants to restrict a woman’s right to choose even in pro-choice states like Nevada. Attorney General Todd Blanche was caught saying this just a few weeks ago on a call to anti-choice activists. We cannot lose sight of the fight to defend women’s rights in this country.

Betting on whether a wildfire will devastate a community – our neighbors and friends – is truly wrong and dangerous. We need to crack down on the prediction markets that allow wagers on natural disasters before someone gets hurt.

TPS holders from El Salvador have been working hard, following the law, and contributing every day to our communities and our economy in Nevada. They deserve certainty and safety, and they’re not getting it from the Trump Administration.

Congress has a responsibility under the Constitution to check the Supreme Court when their decisions impede on Nevadans’ fundamental rights. That is our system of checks and balances that the Founders created to protect our freedoms, and that’s what the Supreme Court Review Act is about.

The requirement that forces many immigrants to abandon their lives for a decade before coming back to the U.S. is just one of the many barriers that keep families in limbo. And for many law-abiding immigrants who have lived and worked here for decades, there isn't even a "line" to get into.

I hear it all the time: "Why don't TPS holders just adjust their status?" The fact is, it isn't that simple for many TPS holders and other immigrants.
