Transforming U.S. Defense Acquisitions. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth toured two companies in California that are looking to the future of tech.

Secretary Hegseth led the first ever Pentagon Christmas Tree Lighting. This season, we honor the warriors who stand watch for all of us — the men and women fighting to keep peace on Earth.

The funding provided by the Big Beautiful Bill is ready to be used to mount an effective sprint to build combat power. At the War Department, we are adopting new technologies with a “fight tonight” philosophy – so our warfighters have the cutting-edge tools they need to prevail.

Secretary Hegseth was in the mess deck serving Thanksgiving dinner to the warriors who keep America safe.

Yesterday, at the direction of President Trump, two lethal kinetic strikes were conducted on two vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Both strikes were conducted in international waters and 3 male narco-terrorists were aboard each vessel. All 6 were killed.
