dude your sketches are beautiful. i'd love mine to look as clean as yours someday
I honestly don't mind when people compare my stuff to other stuff but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna have a little fun with it
And the final score is: comparisons to Constance (Redwall) and Sgt Detritus (Discworld) are exactly neck and neck at 4 each, with Anor Londo archers coming in with the bronze at 2. If we factor in the tumblr notes though Constance wins in a landslide
Brother Lem you scoundrel!

thanks! i don't do comic often but I've read enough of them that certain paneling tricks stuck in my head and can be shook loose when i do try

intimidation factor is important
it's not a register i normally find myself drawn to but sometimes you wake up with the urge to depict a character wielding an unreasonably large weapon
Aw! that's real sweet, thank you
probably mostly for the intimidation factor but you never know if a raider party has a rhino or whatever on deck
Sister Dot doesn't fuck around with abbey security
yeah it can be fun and interesting to figure out how to achieve certain tones but sometimes you just want to have a big pan of premixed color to save you the headache
as a quick plug I gotta say one thing I've been regularly frustrated with is mixing up skin tones for the critters' hands and noses and tails but @lycomorpha.bsky.social's Wolf's Milk kind of nails it www.etsy.com/listing/4452...
unintended intrusion from an unrelated sketch on the same page but too funny to photoshop out. brother ignatz live react corner
