I was gonna make a bit about Russian Cracked doing their own version of the "plucky ukranian teen appealing to YA sensitivities to say you should go along with it" but I just remembered that Juanita Broderick has moved to Russia precisely over this kind of stuff.

Beep boop draw me a sousa and quino style cartoon animal. beep boop give it pacman eyes. beep boop color the linework. now make it against the creator's wishes.... call the YM2612 soundchip bad.

One of the consequences of the current brazilian elections is learning that AI is getting close to recreating the Mauricio de Sousa art style, which means I'm a few steps from someone making a Cosuman robot.

And yesterday I was lazing around and the advertisement block before a weekend variety show was Costco for businesses, banking and security services for business, etc before our version of Sabado Fantastico. I laughed.

I was reminded of an old newspaper magazine asking sponsors to do adverts for appropriate audiences before tv programs and using "expensive car brands and luxury stuff before the public tv trivia game show", citing that people with a lot of money would watch the show since they were "smarter".

Terence Tao made a presentation on why using AI for Math wouldn't necessarily solve the issue with it by making an analogy to stuff like thalidomeide and the general response on that site as the anti-argument was to call him a bug man for being asian.

I've gotten too bitter to find the sentiment exposed on those paragraphs bc all it did in the past few years as to give a "cherry tomato" kind of excuse for military contractors and major banking orgs to "leftishly" scold people in worsening conditions for complaining.

Glad to know you liked it!
