He’s right about one thing: things could be worse. Project 2025 could’ve been completed by April of last year.
Like a detective, journalist, or just a passing witness?
What's their vocabulary like? Advanced? Simple? Foul-mouthed? Meandering? Etc. How do they react under stress? Do they go quiet? Freak out? Call for action? Etc.
Still not really thinking about specific authors on Bluesky, but I do so love this trope. To those of you who use it, how do you make the narrator sound convincing? Like, how do they know everything about the characters in the story and whatnot?
My authorial voice just kind of comes out on its own. If it's first-person perspective, I try to think about what that character would say, how they would recall the story. For that, I plan out the narrator's personality and choice of words, and they still feel like they're talking to the reader.
Funnily enough, some Republicans are trying to cover that up.

Ruin a book by adding a word The Lord of the Nose Rings
4. Decision: Time runs out, and the ringside judges award points based on each fighter’s performance. Each judge can award up to 10 points each for damage, aggression, strategy, field control, and style. Whichever fighter is awarded more points wins.
3. Submission: One fighter forces the opponent to surrender. 🧵
2. Ring out: One fighter is dealt an in-game killing blow due to an environmental hazard, e.g. a pool of lava, sharp rocks at the bottom of a cliff, a falling tree, a stray lightning bolt, a wall of spikes, drowning, or a landslide. 🧵
1. Knockout: One fighter strikes an in-game killing blow using a weapon or body part, e.g. a sword, spear, axe, bludgeon, improvised weapon, punch, kick, choke, or twisting the opponent’s neck. 🧵
There are several ways. 🧵
It was.
To commemorate World Mental Health Day, I made myself a bowl of Japanese meatball curry ramen.
"That's your story?!" said Jack the narrator. "You've got to be kidding me! That's not a fairly stupid tale! That's an incredibly stupid tale! It's an unbelievably stupid tale! It's the most stupid tale I ever--AWK!" The giant grabbed Jack and dragged him to the next page.
I still remember the giant's tale verbatim. THE END of the evil stepmother said, "I'll huff and snuff and give you three wishes." The beast changed into seven dwarves happily ever after for a spell had been cast by a wicked witch once upon a time...
