Jon Ossoff is very very good at politics, and also at telling David Brooks to go fuck himself, two capacities which should increasingly be, and in fact should long have been, seen as tandem features.

Even if anything was malignant, since they took everything, it would just be "wait and see," with a side of "maybe biopsy the ones on his ribs." The great news is that his teeth look great, and he didn't need any extractions! We still have some of the costs to cover, so if you can help...

They found 2 more on his ribs which really looked like fatty tumors. They didn't want to keep him under any longer at his age, so they just left those alone and took good pictures and measurements. We will know for sure on the biopsies in a few days, but for now, it looks like he's fine.

Cap is home! They ended up taking 5 tumors off him, 3 of which we're biopsying just to be safe. 3 were small enough to get with a punch biopsy tool. 3 were on his left hind leg, 2 in his right front armpit.

Thinking today about how Georgia is the one in our neighborhood that is trending blue and also Georgia has early voting. I wonder a lot what voting would look like in Alabama if we had something even that helpful.

In his pre-surgery last check, the vet found two more small tumors on his legs. They're probably just lipomas, but since every time we knock him out is a risk that rises as he gets older, and because those tumors might not be benign and are on his legs, they're taking those off too.

Cap has just been dropped off for surgery. They are fairly certain he's going to need extractions, in which case the bill will be closer to $5100. Thank you all for your help - every donation and share makes a huge difference.
