I pulled the plug on Adobe in March and have been using it since. Been able to do most things except import old InDesign files. Also much easier to just not install the AI module than in Adobe.

I know this is a "shitting post" but I legit had a publisher print 2-6 players on my game for 4-6 players. I had to scramble to come up with 2 and 3 player rules that ended up being not very good. I would later revisit and revise those rules and upgrade them to "OK"

In the early 2000s I went to a game store in Ohio that had movie props in cases and the Lord of the Rings playing on iMacs on a loop, and it turns out the owner was a movie producer and just wanted to have a cool game store, and I still admire that a lot.
