I think I read somewhere that the latest OS version is version 43 - I've got the updates up to version 30 (I think the phone started at version 18 or 19, so I'm more than halfway there).

Yeah, that's basically what I'm having to do. It's not like the phone *doesn't work* if it's not up to the latest version, so if I have to get up and go do something and pause the updates, it's not a big deal. It just feels like a really strange way of doing the updates lol

It's a Samsung Z Fold 5.

So I'm having to install 20+ OS updates one after another instead of just being able to update to the latest version. And it really feels like there should be a better way than that lol

One annoyance about this phone is that I received it at basically factory settings, and that means it's not up to date. And instead of just doing the latest update and taking me to the newest version of the OS, it is making me go through *each successive update* leading up to that. All 20+ of them.

You can still do short animations with Pro; it's just limited to 24 frames. Pro is what I use; I used EX in the past and just found that the difference in cost vs. getting the tools I actually needed wasn't worth it (for me!).

EX has animation support. If you're not planning to do animation, you can probably get by just fine with just Pro.

If most of the people who subscribed are able to STAY subscribed, and if furries will pay for their own ad spots on FA (they now have an easy-to-use ad portal for artists!), Fur Affinity can be SELF-SUFFICIENT without relying on third-party ad partners, and that is HUGE.

The response to the GFM has been amazing, but one little thing that's kinda buried in here is that they also more than doubled the number of FA+ subscribers. Doing the math based on Sciggles's numbers, ~5-6K subs would get the site to the break-even point (with no ads). They've got over 7K.

You know, the pup-play thing never used to make much sense to me, but the more time I've spent hanging out with pups, the more I feel like I kinda *get it* now. And I have to admit that pup hoods have grown on me. Not to the point where I want one myself, but I kinda like how they look on people.
