19 days....feels like both an eternity of stress and self doubt and yet just yesterday that I pushed myself to start this. I'm still here, still trying. No one has to donate, no one has to help. But anything at all, does help. Even shares and kind words.

Blessed #Nightweaver defend us.🙏🕷️🙏

A huge shout out to @mothmonarch.bsky.social for their amazing artwork. 😍😍😍

We did also get an awesome bee pin, which I will upload later!

A photo of a purple bandanna printed with many different types of white spiders in white. In the upper center a silver 8 sided web shaped pin rests with a blue bodied celestial spider resting in its center.

A close up photo of the pin, showing the golden web in finer detail covered in stars and constellation lines. The spider an orbweaver, has blue and yellow legs, its prosoma is dark blue, as is the center of its opisthosoma, which also features a golden crescent moon, a 5 pointed star, and a single golden dot. The sides of the opisthosoma are light blue.

Photo of a black bandana with an assorted spider design printed in white ink. It's folded in half diagonally and resting on a wood and metal bench as a backdrop.

Photo of an enamel pin design based on an orb-weaver spider sitting in the center of its web, with celestial motifs in the markings. The spider is dark blue with yellow stripes on its legs and a moon and star on its abdomen. The web is done in raised and recessed metal with star and constellation shapes among the strands. The pin is resting on a blue cloth background with golden accents.

Photo of three stickers of a celestial-themed jumping spider displayed overlapping each other slightly. Each has two long legs raised and a sun and moon scene on its displayed abdomen. The stickers' lineart is a soft reflective gold color. They are resting on a blue and purple cloth background with golden accents. Mark at the bottom of the image reads "shop.mothmonar.ch"

Pulled my trap out of alignment and needed tons of PT because my desk & chair were too big and forced me to lean with one arm nearly straight for long periods. It was very painful for months. Take this seriously!!

I'm so glad to hear that! The world is a heavy place right now, and sometimes I wonder if my work makes any difference. Thank you. I love making these bug friends and have years' worth if it would bring you smiles among all the worry. 💚

Cozy in the last few pages of the square book. ☕

Square sketchbook page featuring cartoon insect characters. Left, a colorful line of simple bugs. Upper middle, a moth waves toward the left, smiling and saying "Hey!" Below, an ant in a patterned sweater and a moth doing a stretching pose. Right, moth in a long coat, striped scarf, and tall boots smiles with closed eyes, holding a steaming coffee. Other little bugs fill the in between space. Some pencils and pens are visible on the desk around the sketchbook. Art by Moth Monarch, 2026.

You always seem to have interest & takers and connecting with your audience might shift a bit but I doubt very much they evaporated overnight. You clearly work hard and make cool shit!! It's weird out here right now for most of us, it's definitely not just you or something you did.

Hang in there. I think con selections for dealer rooms are changing overall, favoring artists with lots of merch for full dealer tables and trying to get comm-focused people into half-tables/artist alley/whatever other section a con might have. Shiro didn't get in again either.

Tidy sketch for @gatorgoob.bsky.social with freshly baked cookies! 🍪

A chunky reptilian character holding a tray of freshly baked cookies marches proudly and happily toward the left. He's smiling broadly with closed eyes. The top part of a skull of a similarly shaped creature is worn like a mask over his head; he also has an apron over a polo and shorts, and two oven gloves on his hands with a third flopping over the tip of his tail behind them in a silly fashion. Art by Moth Monarch 2026.

Missed out on himbo mothman stickers at Anthrocon this year? I have more in my shop! shop.mothmonar.ch

He's one cool cryptid. 😎

Two "himbo mothman" stickers on a multicolored concrete surface. In both he is various shades of gray with a white tank, blue jeans, and red sneakers, fingerless gloves, and metallic sunglasses. Left pose is leaning back with one palm held up toward the viewer, the other extended behind him. Right pose is flexing with one arm down, one up while crouching a bit forward. Mark at the bottom reads "shop.mothmonar.ch"

At least it turns out mice, like bugs, don't really HAVE to wear pants...!

Don't worry about it! And it's mostly going well, just tiiiiiiiired and will be a while yet it sounds like. Sore sometimes but it's slowly improving and not that bad now.
