Praying to the Gods of baseball for the next few days and hoping they are not Yankee fans.

By a run, not a point.

I grew up with classics like Voltes V and Cyborg 009.

I know, and finding a good left back that can attack and defend is not easy.

You know I come over to Landsdown playing fields every week for my son’s games, right?

A Stevie G thunder goal too. I’ve missed those.

Kerkez has no idea of how to defend, eh. Wow. The drop in quality from Robbo is abysmal.

Early days, but Schaffner and Hull are looking great. Fix the ground ball rates and they may be prime players when all is said and done.

We can’t figure it out, because those putting the team together haven’t got a clue of what they are doing.

I still think the spending spree last season was pretty stupid. And of course, you need a team where the players want to run. That’s still the most damning stat of this team. They are being outran by everyone. In Klopp’s time it was the opposite.

At least Muñoz and Jacquet look like brilliant signings to add to Ekitike.

We can’t keep putting this on Jota. And it is on the manager. They need to get the team running and pressing. If Iraola is as incapable as Slot, then he has to go too. Did you see Gakpo ball-watching.

Not looking bright right now. Frimpong has been underwhelming too.

Left back just as poor.

We have the same problem we had last season, but with a different manager. The midfield players can’t be arsed to run. If they don’t run, we are toasted.

Kerkez is such a downgrade on Robinson. I would play Tsimikas instead.
