They both believe they are not worthy of love or kindness because of actions they’ve made. They both believe they deserve 2 have pain & suffering. And they both believe they will only make the ones they love miserable by staying or engaging with them. But that’s where the similarities end imo.

If you saw that scene w Stolas & that’s your immediate thought, well it’s giving blatant homophobia toward gay men is all I have 2 say. But all that being said, they are similar in how they both chose to punish themselves.

I’ve been seeing a lot of comparisons of Stolas & Angel. Some are going as far as 2 say Stolas is the new Angel. Which nope, we’re not doing that. These are 2 very different characters, w different circumstances & different personalities.

I don’t disagree with this whatsoever. I’m not here for Stolas or Blitz hate. But I am here for genuine conversation & critical analysis of actions & behaviors. It’s perfectly understandable 2 be upset by what happened. And it’s perfectly understandable for Blitz 2 be upset in this moment.

Specifically with Angel, he wants Angel to do something for him and Angel’s like not rn, and Husk just gives him this smoldering and/or pathetic look and Angel just melts.

We know canonically Husk doesn’t like his sinner form. But I could see him getting more confident. Especially cause you know Angel would hype him up constantly. And then once Husk does gain confidence & realize he is hot shit, he’ll use that to his advantage.

And they’re still not in an actual relationship. I’m not saying it’s necessarily healthy, and I do completely understand Blitz’s reaction. But a huge part of the fandom already dog piles on Stolas for stupid reasons & I’m afraid this is gonna fan the flames.
