I'm haunted by the night before Your thin frame I carried through my door I placed you soft upon my bed And tried to make sure you drank and were fed. And then as usual you purred, Nestled between my legs. In the morning is when I heard, you left to hide and were dead.

I wish people would love themselves a little more. There’s only one of you, with all your quirks and edges and lovable parts. We’re all complicated and messy and imperfect, but that doesn’t make us unworthy of love, happiness, or life.
