I should clarify, dosage is 10g/day but needs to be taken in advance and continuously. It takes about a week to build up in your system. My family's main trigger is air pressure changes. Kelly could feel/get aura exactly when it changed 12mbar in 12hrs.

Any brand of creatine monohydrate should do. We buy Leanfit from Costco. There is research from U of Regina on creatine benefitting brain health as we age, especially for pre/post menopausal people, which is why we tried it. YMMV, but it's cheap, available in grocery stores, no side effects

Surprisingly we don't have rats, only mice, and they seem content with strawberries

I don't think it was. I wasn't looking too closely as I was picking up my sick kid from school, but it looked like your bike was a little different

Creatine, 10g/day. My youngest had a migraine for almost all of January 2025, and spent 4 days at the IWK. Magnesium, B2, and Coenzyme Q10 are they typically prescribed, and they help a bit. My wife also gets migraines from air pressure and geomagnetic activity. Creatine cured them both in a week

I think I started with 10 seeds, which made 4 seedlings of which 2 survived, to make 1 fruit. I think I can find a better location for them next time though. I think the only reason I had any success was burying a terracotta dollar so it always had water.

I tried growing a muskmelon in my garden this year. It produced 1 viable melon. I was worried as it didn't seem to be ripening properly. I decided to cut it open, and it looks way better than I expected. It's not as sweet as cantaloupe, but not bad.

Okay, I must have misread something in your thread. There is definitely growing pains with Edmonton's infill, but they're solvable problems that throwing away a zoning plan won't fix

Sources tell me Danielle Smith will force Edmonton to repeal its zoning bylaw. Smith's UCP loyalist friends in Edmonton Neighbourhoods United, whose agenda lost in the last election, asked for her help, just like she helped the separatists. Local democracy is dead.

a little louder for the cheap seats in the back

One of the biggest myths is that men rape by mistake. Like, "Oh, they need consent training." But research is very clear: Sexual violence is not a mistake. It is an intentionally made decision by people who know they don't have consent. They just don't prioritize consent over things like status, power, domination, and sexual gratification.
For my research, I got a certificate of confidentiality from the National Institutes of Health, so my notes couldn't be subpoenaed. One of the reasons I call them perpetrators in my work is because every single person I interviewed confessed in that context. The first question I would ask them was, "When you received that email from Title IX that you were under investigation, did you know what it was about?" Every perpetrator I interviewed said "yes." If sexual assault were a miscommunication, you would be wondering, What have I possibly done wrong? That is not the way that any of them reacted because they knew.

Guess I need to update this post from a couple of weeks ago. Is that $70 billion in subsidies? (30 ongoing + 40 for pipeline) So the entire value of o&g to the Canadian economy is given straight back to big oil? Absolutely corrupt behaviour & a climate crime.

Fun fact. Canada's arts & culture gdp is basically the same as oil & gas at about $70 billion.

Direct funding for the arts & culture is about $700 million annually

It's up to $30 billion for oil & gas depending on how you count

"When asked if customers will be able to opt-out of this, [Amazon] told Bloomberg, “We haven’t thought about that.”"

Hey @murray.senate.gov why should Amazon get to violate WA's 2-party consent recording laws and go all Peeping Tom to even record the inside of my house through my front window?

When explaining why we should not cork they have repeatedly told participants that if a driver was to step on their gas pedal while a group of cyclists were in front of them, it would be our fault. This is not a concern for cycling safety but a justification for violence against us.

🧵 For 3 years Critical Mass has held monthly rides with 3 goals in mind: 1. Celebrate cycling + other active transport 2. Protest the lack of physical + social infra that allows for safe travel 3. Create a safe environment to cycle by empowering participants to look out for one another.

Hyper-fast acceleration is dangerous as well as pointless. As I wrote in 2024, the 0-to-60 metric is outdated and needs to die. No driver on a public road needs to go from 0 to 60 mph in under 8 seconds. Even the slowest car on the market is more than quick enough.
