People like to vilify playing evil characters in D&D, but two of the worst experiences I’ve had were with players using Lawful Good PCs. One played a cowardly pacifist who contributed little to combat, and the other was a sanctimonious killjoy (both the player and the PC) who broke her own rules.

I’d rather our new heroes do something other than wait around looking like idiots or, better yet, rewrite that scene so they figure out how to win themselves, then have Luke be a shorter cameo at the end where we have the emotional goodbye between Mando and Grogu.

The moment Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing showed up at the end of The Mandalorian’s second season to save the day, I fully believed the show didn’t respect its new characters and prioritized the fanservice. Book of Boba Fett was bad, Mandalorian Season 3 was worse. At least Andor’s good.
