Dramatically. And also much slower in addition to much smaller quantity
Yep. No threat actor is going to prioritize "expensive and slow GenAI attack that can be destroyed by unplugging the toaster then plugging it back in" over a cheap self-propagating worm
Plus dramatically overestimates the quantity of memory in IoT devices Shameless rent-seeking behavior
This is all a pretty transparent attempt to convince regulators to ban open source / open weight models
🤮
This is why there's so much doubt on the left that TV ads work (hello Francesca Hong!) Who could possibly find these things convincing?? The answer is very dumb people.
The reason every political campaign ad is like "I'm Bob Bobbington and I believe in goodness and happy. (Big cheesy smile at camera with family.)" is because they are targeted at undecided voters, and undecided voters are about as smart as toasters.
And while that describes you, me, our friends, and everyone any of us interact with with any regularity, all of those people combined is like 2% of the electorate. And we all already vote left.
In order to find this ad funny you need to: 1) understand the ideological front lines that create the central tension, 2) recognize the conceit of subverting the horror movie form, and 3) be familiar enough with all of this to find it funny.
I think many people on here fail to appreciate that your typical American doesn't find stuff like this funny because they're just too stupid for it
This is very cute but it thinks way too much of your average voter
Yes they lied to you just like they lied to a hundred other judges and they are gonna keep going it
Why does every member of the judiciary need to learn this lesson individually

speaking of wine, i think of this post often and hope this person is doing well. as humans, we're not here for a long time in the grand scheme of things, so may as well be here for a good time.
who did this
oh man 😂
It would obviously be ridiculous and bigoted even if she did live a more socially conservative lifestyle but it’s just absolutely insane when Republicans try to act like Muslims in the United States are an authoritarian religious movement, which is what conservatives explicitly want to be!
Much like with Mamdani, Plummer is a clearly liberal woman who doesn’t wear a hijab, had children via surrogacy, opened a dentistry practice, is divorced, etc. What exactly is the “Sharia” fear even supposed to signal to here?
