I have loads of work to do and places to be today, so I'm drawing Venn Diagrams. There are some exceptions to the rule illustrated below, but on the whole, it holds true.

It is okay to let people dislike things. It is also okay to let them vent their dislike in public and on social media. It is okay to dislike things without having a moral and political reason for doing so. I need you all to please stop tying your entire identities up in the things you consume.

In 1835, NY newspaper The Sun published six articles about how astronomer Sir John Herschel had found life on the Moon using a large telescope. The articles described how he saw plants, animals, and a race of humanoids with bat-like wings. It was all a hoax, now known as the "Great Moon Hoax."
