I (wisely, apparently) refused to watch the US version. The AUS version was great. I look forward to a second series.

If I'm doing an in-person interview and they don't offer me a drink, I'm going to be taking that into account when I consider if I want to work for them. And the answer is probably going to be "no". I've never, in literal decades of running interviews, failed to offer a candidate a drink.
